CSIC appoints new general manager

Chinese state-run shipbuilding conglomerate China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) has appointed Wu Yongjie as the new general manager of the group.

Wu will fill the position left by Sun Bo, who was arrested for corruption investigations two months ago.

Before joining CSIC, Wu served as the vice general manager of CSSC Group.

CSSC and CSIC have a tradition of swapping top management. The current president of CSIC, Hu Wenming, used to serve as the president of CSSC.
