DeepOcean awarded Australian contract

Subsea operator DeepOcean has been awarded a contract for the provision of post-lay trenching services along 65km of umbilical offshore Australia.

Work is expected to commence late this year, and will utilise the company’s T1 trencher.

Andrew Piasecki, commercial director cable lay and trenching at DeppOcean, commented: “We are extremely pleased to receive this award. It is a testament to the confidence our clients have in DeepOcean’s ability to provide burial solutions on a global basis in varying soil conditions. We are looking forward to a successful campaign and supporting our client on this key project.”
