Diana Shipping fixes panamax bulker

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with CJ International Italy Societa Per Azioni for 2006-built panamax Coronis.

The charter commenced on August 11 and is for a period of 12-15 months. The charter is initially at a rate of $8,300 per day for 60 days and then steps up to $11,300 per day for the remainder of the contract. The vessel was previously on charter to Narina Maritime at $9,000 per day.

Diana says the charter will generate around $3.89m based on the minimum time charter period.
