Diana Shipping seals kamsarmax deal with Bocimar

Greek drybulk owner Diana Shipping has sealed a time charter contract with CMB’s Bocimar International for 2010-built kamsarmax bulker Myrsini.

The charter commences today, and is through to between October 15 and November 30 at a rate of $27,750 per day. The rate is far superior to the $11,500 paid by the previous charterer, Ausca Shipping in Hong Kong.

Diana Shipping, which has a fleet of 36 bulkers, says the charter will generate around $4.3m based on the minimum time charter period.
