DOF Subsea awarded several new Asia Pacific contracts

Norway’s DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts in the Asia Pacific region.

Construction support vessel Skandi Hercules has been awarded a contract for survey and intervention services in Australian waters, as well as a further contract for the provision of geophysical and geotechnical surveys offshore northern Australia. The contracts see the vessel utilised from late April through into the third quarter of 2018.

Dive support vessel Skandi Singapore has been awarded multiple short-term contracts for survey and intervention services in Australian waters with a combined duration of three weeks commencing mid-May.

Additionally, DOF was awarded a contract in Vietnam for survey and intervention services utilising 2006-built multipurpose vessel Geoholm, which will be deployed from late April for around three weeks.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
