Greek owner Evangelos Marinakis and Capital Maritime & Trading have signed a letter of intent with South Korean yard STX for the construction of up to 10 MR tankers.
According to shipbroking sources, the LOI includes a firm orders for four vessels, and three two-vessel options
Deliveries will start from the fourth quarter of 2020.
Capital Maritime & Trading currently owns a fleet of 28 vessels, and has another three tankers on order at Deahan and Samsung Heavy in South Korea.
