Oslo-based accommodation vessel specialist Floatel has signed a contract with Equinor for the deployment of the Floatel Superior.
.The 2010-built vessel will provide accommodation and support services at the Åsgard B facility on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The contract is set to start in March or April of 2025, and last for six months with Equinor having options to extend the hire period.
Floatel owns and operates five semisub accommodation units built between 2010 to 2016. Earlier this year, the company secured work in Brazil for its 2013-built Floatel Victory.
