Fugro appoints new CEO

Dutch offshore service provider Fugro has announced the appointment of Mark Heine as CEO and chairman of the board of management, succeeding Øystein Løseth who has decided to resign.

Løseth will step down from October 1 and act as an advisor until the end of 2018.

Heine started his career at Fugro in 2000 as geodesist on various onshore and offshore survey projects and became a member of the board in 2015.

“It is an honour for me to be appointed as CEO and chairman of the board of management. Fugro is a great company with talented people and leading positions in our key markets. I believe we are well placed to meet the challenges of the future. I am looking forward to further build our company together with my colleagues in the board and our employees all over the world,” Heine said of his appointment.
