Halliburton awarded Libra contract by Petrobras

Houston-based Halliburton Company has been awarded an integrated services contract by Petrobras for pre-salt development in the Santos Basin.

The contract is for two and a half years and includes drilling and completion services.

Anouar Fraija, vice president of Halliburton Brazil, commented: “We are pleased to win this work and to collaborate with Petrobras to provide a tailored application of Halliburton technology. This contract is a testament to our continuous commitment to safety, superior service quality and helping operators maximize their asset value.”

Halliburton has an established track record in Brazil’s pre-salt fields and maintains a technology centre in Rio de Janeiro.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
