Havila Shipping wins Equinor PSV charter

Norwegian OSV owner Havila Shipping has secured a new contract with Equinor for the 2011-built platform supply vessel Havila Clipper.

The Fosnavåg-based firm said the contract is for a firm period of six months and includes two options of two months each.

The new contract will start in the second half of February in direct continuation of the existing contract for the vessel.

Havila Shipping operates vessels within the subsea construction, anchor handling, platform supply and multi-field rescue recovery segments. The company is expected to post its quarterly numbers on February 28 after a net loss of around $4.7m in Q3.
