UK-based offshore vessel owner and operator HST Marine has secured two charters with wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE).
The medium and long-term contracts involve crew transfer vessels HST Sofia and HST Frances for work in the North Sea.
Fast-growing HST Marine is part of Purus Wind, the offshore wind business of Purus Marine, which last month placed an order at Damen Shipyards for the construction of eight offshore wind support vessels.
Earlier this year, HST also tapped Singapore-based shipbuilder Strategic Marine for the supply of several battery hybrid crew transfer vessels (CTVs).
