Maersk Supply Service offloads ageing PSV pair

Maersk Supply Service has sold off PSVs Maersk Feeder and Maersk Fighter as it looks to reduce its fleet by up to 20 vessels over the next 18 months.

Maersk said that the vessels, which joined the fleet in 1992 and 1993, were delivered to their new owners earlier in the month. Both vessels are to be modified and will no longer serve in the OSV market.

As part of its recently announced divestment plans Maersk Finder, Maersk Puncher, Maersk Provider, Maersk Forwarder, and now Maersk Feeder and Maersk Fighter have been sold.

Maersk Supply Service currently has 51 vessels in the fleet.
