March 24 deadline for Thessaloniki bids

Athens has set a March 24 deadline for bids to be submitted for a majority stake in Greece’s second largest port, Thessaloniki.

The stalled sale of the 67% stake in the port is expected to attract a number of well known international terminal operators with DP World and ICTSI both linked.

Greece’s largest port, Piraeus, completed a long drawn out privatisation last year, taken over by China’s Cosco.
