Meadway back at Oshima with bulk carrier order 

Meadway Shipping has contracted Oshima Shipbuilding again to build a 42,300 bulk carrier, a second ship on order at the Japanese yard for the Greek owner. Delivery is anticipated in the first half of 2026 with no price revealed. 

Meadway now has nine newbuildings scheduled to be delivered between 2024 and 2026.

“This strategic move underscores our commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry, providing innovative shipping solutions, and contributing to sustainable transportation,” the company stated in a release.
