Mena Energy takes Fratelli d’Amico tanker on 3-year charter

Rome-based Fratelli d’Amico has chartered out LR2 tanker Mare Nostrum to Dubai-based Mena Energy for a period of three years.

The charter rate for the vessel is over $26,500 per day according to sources who confirmed the deal to Splash today.

Mare Nostrum was previously deployed in the Taurus Tankers pool managed by Teekay.

Fratelli d’Amico owns six vessels, made up of three aframax and three suezmax tankers.
