N-Sea awarded several new Middle East contracts

Dutch subsea specialist N-Sea has won several contracts in the Middle East worth a total of over $15m.

The awards are made up of saturation and air diving scopes in Egypt, pipeline decommissioning and spool piece installations in Abu Dhabi, two civil engineering jobs in Abu Dhabi, and jetty repairs in Sharjah.

As a result of the new contracts, N-Sea has increased its Dubai-based personnel from two employees to ten.

Asa Gamble, managing director for N-Sea in the Middle East, commented: “The recent investment in our team signals our growing presence in the Middle East market and we will continue to expand our office staff towards the end of this year and into 2020.

“Throughout 2020, we also plan to roll out our full survey capabilities in the region, diversify into a neighbouring Gulf Cooperation Council country and moving survey, diving and ROV assets.”
