N-Sea extends Braveheart OSV charter

Dutch subsea services specialist N-Sea has extended its long-term charter deal with Braveheart Marine for the offshore survey support vessel Braveheart Spirit.

The 2010-built unit, formerly the Bourbon Gulf Star, was acquired in 2021 by Braveheart Marine, which converted and upgraded it from an offshore supply vessel to meet the most up-to-date industry standards.

N-Sea has had the vessel under full management and control since April 2022. The latest deal will see the ship stay in the company’s fleet until December 31, 2025.

The Dordrecht-based firm recently struck a deal with fellow shipowner Rederij Groen on a long-term charter for the offshore support vessel 4-Winds. The 2012-built Dutch-flagged vessel, former VOS Sweet, was acquired earlier this year in Vroon offshore fleet sellout as part of the company’s restructuring.
