New Singapore owner emerges

Singapore has a new shipping line. Sea Lion Shipping last month launched a new Singapore – Pontianak feeder service, using the 120 teu multipurpose ship Lintas Barito, according to the latest weekly report from Alphaliner.

The service to Indonesia will compete with PACC Lines’ existing Singapore – Pontianak feeder service, which had been the sole operator on this niche route using the 629 teu PAC Lombok on a weekly service.
