Noble Group selling off remains of bulker fleet

Freshly restructured Noble Group Holdings has revealed in its latest quarterly results that it is planning to sell of its owned bulker fleet.

Having spent much of 2018 reducing its fleet, Noble has five bulkers left made up of a capesize and four post-panamaxes.

“The vessels are operated by Trading Co Group’s freight business, under a management services agreement, as part of the Group’s overall freight business. The Group plans to dispose of the Vessels and is the process of actively seeking buyers,” the company said in its results, saying the sales will have no significant impact on the operations of its overall freight business.

Noble Group recorded a net profit of $30m for the first quarter of 2019.
