NYK sells ageing tanker to NG Moundreas

Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) has sold an ageing tanker to Greek interests. The 18-year-old 280,999 dwt Takachiho II has been bought by NG Moundreas for $21.3m, according to broker reports.

The vessel is being deployed on storage business in the Middle East as opposed to regular trading and hence it has been given some concessions including the fact it has only one boiler.
