The contract includes a firm order for two vessels and options for an additional four vessels. Other details of the contract were not disclosed.
Last year, Raffles Shipping ordered six chemical tankers of the same type at Jinhai. So far five of the vessels have been delivered.
Raffles Shipping, controlled by Wilmar International, runs a fleet of 58 vessels comprising 20 bulkers and 38 tankers.
