SeaBird Exploration secures contract extension in Gulf of Mexico

Offshore survey specialist SeaBird Exploration has received a 30-day extension for its survey vessel Osprey Explorer, currently working on an ocean bottom node survey in the US Gulf of Mexico.

The contract commenced in August and the extension will bring the firm period of the contract to a total of 90 days.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry. The company currently operates a fleet of four seismic vessels.
