Seadrill semi-tender rig wins six-well deal in Cote d’Ivoire

Seadrill’s limited liability company Seadrill Partners has secured a six-well contract for 2009-built semi-submersible tender rig West Vencedor offshore Cote d’Ivoire.

Commencement of the contract is scheduled for the third quarter of 2019 and will run through to the second quarter of 2020. The contract, with an unnamed client, also includes three optional wells.

Seadrill says the firm portion of the contract is worth around $20m.
