Soechi Lines takes Meiji Shipping supramax

Indonesian tanker owner Soechi Lines has acquired the 2005-built aframax bulker Esteem Splendour from Japanese owner Meiji Shipping

According to shipbroking sources, the Japanese-built 106,500 dwt crude tanker was sold for a price of $14.5m.

The tanker is the fourth vessel Soechi Lines has bought this year, following the acquisition of one MR tanker, one aframax tanker and one LPG carrier.

Soechi Lines currently operates a fleet of 48 vessels, made up of 43 tankers and five LPG carriers.
