TechnipFMC and Aker Solutions score subsea deals in Angola

TechnipFMC and Aker Solutions have won contracts to supply subsea equipment for BP and Eni joint venture’s Ndungu project offshore Angola.

Azule Energy JV has tapped TechnipFMC for flexible pipe in a deal worth between $75m and $250m, while Norway’s Aker Solutions has been tasked to provide subsea umbilicals valued from $49m to $148m.

The Ndungu field is part of Azule Energy’s Agogo Integrated West Hub project in Block 15/06 in Angola, where both firms were recently awarded contracts for the Agogo field development.

The Agogo Integrated West Hub will produce hydrocarbons from Agogo and Ndungu fields via both the existing Ngoma FPSO and the new Agogo FPSO that will be operational in 2026, reaching a peak of production of 175.000 bblpd.
