Two feared dead as Japanese ship capsizes following collision 

Two seafarers are feared dead after a general cargo ship capsized in Japanese waters having collided with a boxship.

The accident happened just before midnight last night some 15 km off the coast of Wakayama prefecture to the south of Osaka. 

The 72.58 m long Izumi Maru flipped over having come into contact with TS Lines-chartered 148 m long Contship Uno. The bow of the Contship Uno suffered slight damage.
