Victor Restis embroiled in UK legal case

Greek shipping tycoon Victor Restis is embroiled in a legal battle in the UK, demanding £37m ($47m) be repaid from a British financier, Amanda Staveley, over a loan issued 15 years ago.

Restis, who controls Enterprises Shipping & Trading, is battling Staveley, a famous name in British sports finance, over the size of the money she owes him.

The Greek businessman is attempting to serve Staveley with a bankruptcy order should the debt not be paid this month. The case continues.
