Wilson Sons secures PSV contract from Fendercare Marine

Brazilian maritime group Wilson Sons has announced that its 50% joint venture Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore has secured a new contract from Fendercare for the hire of PSV Saveiros Fragata.

The vessel will provide logistics support for ship-to-ship crude oil transfers in Brazilian territorial waters for one year commencing in the third quarter of this year. The contract also includes an option to extend the period for a further year.

The PSV will require modifications, which will be performed at Wilson Sons’ shipyard in Guarujá.

Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore is a joint venture between Wilson Sons and Chilean company Ultrmar. The company operates a fleet of 12 Brazilian-flagged offshore support vessels.
