Worley seals five-year deal with BP

Australian engineering firm Worley has secured a new five-year global framework agreement from BP.

The deal will see the ASX-listed Worley provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services covering BP’s refinery assets and new energy portfolio including projects in green and blue hydrogen, lower carbon fuels and sustainable aviation fuels.

The EPCM services will be carried out by Worley’s offices globally backed by global integrated delivery teams.

Chris Ashton, Worley’s chief executive said the framework agreement, strengthens the company’s longstanding relationship with BP and will contribute to helping the UK supermajor meet the world’s changing energy needs. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
