Wuhan Xingang Datong Shipping orders two feeder boxships at Jiangdong Shipyard

Wuhan Xingang Datong Shipping has signed a shipbuilding contract with Sinotrans & CSC affiliated Wuhu Jiangdong Shipyard for the construction of two 500 teu feeder containerships.

The total value of the contract is RMB256m ($37.44m).

The vessels will be deployed for the company’s shipping service from Wuhan to Busan, South Korea.

Wuhan Xingang Datong Shipping is a subsidiary of Central China Logistics Corporation. The company mainly operates domestic and intra Asia shipping service, covering destinations in South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
