Bahri exercises options for five VLCCs at Hyundai Samho

Dalian: The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has announced that it has signed a contract with Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries to exercise options for five VLCCs.

Bahri signed a deal with Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in May to build five VLCCs with options for five more. All the ships will be delivered in 2017.

Bahri said the 300,000 dwt vessels were part of a “continuous renewal of the current fleet to meet the needs of the local and global markets”.
