Jinling Shipyard inks PCTC duo

Shanghai: Jinling Shipyard, an affiliate shipyard of Sinotrans & CSC, has signed shipbuilding contracts with repeat customer Anji Automotive for two 3,800 ceu pure car/truck carriers (PCTC).

The vessels are designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute and will be classified by CCS. Deliveries are scheduled in 2017.

Anji Automotive is a major car logistics firm in China, it has formed joint venture terminals with a number of ports across China to support its car export business.The company ordered two 2,000 ceu PCTCs at Jinling Shipyard in 2014.
