ADNOC Logistics & Services takes Safeen MPSV

ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has strengthened its offshore fleet with a modern multipurpose support vessel.

The shipping and maritime logistics arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has snapped up the 2018-built Safeen Prince from Safeen Group’s offshore division, part of AD Ports Group, for an undisclosed sum.

The 86-m-long ship, delivered to Safeen as Prince Jameson I in November 2021, has changed hands following repairs in dry dock Dubai and has been renamed ADNOC MP 01, according to the VesselsValue database.

ADNOC L&S owns and operates the largest offshore fleet in the UAE. The company last year further bolstered its position in the segment with the acquisition of Zakher Marine International (ZMI) which operates as a standalone entity and will manage the newly acquired MPSV.
