Dubai: A ceremony has been held at Bahrain’s Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Company (ASRY) to bid farewell to the yard’s departing ceo Chris Potter and welcome his replacement, Nils Kristian Berge.
ASRY chairman Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa admitted the current business climate was tough but he expected the new ceo to maintain the drydock as the leading repair facility in the region.
Potter, who worked with ASRY for 22 years, received glowing praise from the chairman. [23/10/13]
