Manila: Famed for its White Beach, which has won many international polls as the best beach in the world, the central Philippine island of Boracay is increasingly on the map of cruiselines. Two cruiseships are scheduled to call in at the ports of Caticlan and Boracay in the first quarter of the year.
The cruiseship MS Columbus 2 of Hapag Lloyd Cruises is scheduled to call in at the Port of Caticlan/Boracay on February 24 while MS Europa, another cruiseship of Hapag Lloyd Cruises, is expected to arrive on March 19.
RCCL’s Legend of the Seas dropped anchor at the island at the end of October last year with around 2,000 passengers. [11/01/13]
