OSV box blaze kills three seafarers

Three seafarers died yesterday and another was seriously injured when a container exploded onboard the offshore supply ship Asso, which was loading at the southern Italian port of Crotone.

The ship was about to set sail for Malta when the accident happened with fire crews taking around two hours to bring the blaze under control.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
