BULL charges for two more aframaxes

Five month after announcing it was raising $84m for new ships, 20-ship strong Indonesian tanker owner Buana Lintas Lautan (BULL) is being linked to two vessel, broker sources tell Splash.

Multiple sources say that the growing tanker player has pounced a 105,000 dwt tanker Anavatos from Greek owner Spring Marine Management, laying around $13.5m on the table for sixteen-year-old ship. The sale represents a great deal for the Greek owner, who bought the ship for around $3m less in November 2017.

The second ship the outfit is linked to is the slightly bigger but same aged aframax Ads Oslo, reported sold for a similar price from Norwegian outfit Arendals Dampskibsselskab.

BULL has been busy all year, with data from VesselValue showing the company adding four ships so far this year made up of three aframaxes and one MR tanker.
