Shanghai: China Shipping Development announced that the company plans to sell an old tanker to Digang Shipyard for RMB20.47m.
The company will sell the ship at the price of scrap steel, which will bring a RMB7.56m loss to the company.
Under the domestic request of scrapping single-hull oil tankers, the company will eliminate its 11 single-hull tankers in 2013 and next year, the company said. [30/09/13]
