CNPC corruption investigation expands
Beijing: The corruption investigation on China’s largest state-owned oil producer, CNPC, is continuing with Wen Qingshan, chief accountant of the group taken by authorities.
Wen, who was also the chairman of Kunlun Energy, had submitted his resignation letter to the board yesterday. Wen was appointed as the chairman of Kunlun Energy in August after the company’s former chairman Li Hualin was arrested. [18/12/13]
