Hong Kong: Cosco International, the shipping services arm of the leading state-owned shipping line Cosco, will push forward the development of existing and new businesses on the basis of strict control on various operational risks, Ye Weilong, chairman of the company said.
“The company will gradually transform from an agent to a one-stop shipping services provider,” Ye said.
In the first half, the company’s profits dropped 44% year-on-year to US$16.9 million. [22/08/13]
