Beijing: China Oilfield Service Limited (COSL) announced that the company has purchased two jack-up drilling rigs which are currently under construction.
The two rigs, COSL Hunter and COSL Gift, are able to operate at water depths of 375 feet and perform drilling operations at depths up to a maximum of 30,000 feet. They are being constructed by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen), and due for the delivery in the last quarter of 2013.
The two rigs will further enhance the service capability of the group, and supporting its business growth for 2014 and beyond, the company said. [21/08/13]
