Shanghai: CSC Phoenix has announced that it has received notice from four shipowners including Passat Shipping, Golf Shipping, Polo Shipping and Phaeton Shipping to terminate vessel chartering contracts for four 92,500dwt vessels as the company has been unable to pay.
Since the signing of these chartering contracts in 2008, CSC Phoenix’s parent company CSC Sinotrans also signed standby charting contracts with the shipowners. The termination of the charter contracts means CSC Sinotrans will takeover the vessel charters. [03/06/13]
