Shanghai: China Shipping Development Co (CSDC) managed RMB74m in net profit last year and approximately RMB11bn in revenues.
Amid the industry downturn, the company has focused on its core operations of domestic coastal thermal coal shipping and oil shipping business.
Meanwhile, to keep steady in 2013, the company said it will gradually scrap older ships to further optimize its fleet structure, and will delay some newbuilding constructions and deliveris to ease the pressure from the new capacity in 2013. [20/03/13]
