Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia-listed vessel operator EA Technique has taken a fast support vessel, Nautica TG Puteri XXX (built 2014), out on a five-year bareboat charter from Classic Marine & Services (M).
The contract for the 40-foot-long crew boat is worth RM24.64m ($6.9m) and was signed off yesterday.
The vessel will commence operations on January 15, 2015, and will finish when the contract expires on January 14, 2020.
EA Technique currently operates two offshore support vessels, plus a fleet of oil tankers, LPG carriers, floating storage units (FSU) and tugs. [13/01/15]
