Egypt’s largest river terminal opens

A new 300m pound river port, the largest in Egypt, has opened near Alexandria. The port adds around a fifth extra capacity to Alexandria, a port city that is working above its designed capacity. Second phase construction of the new port will focus on grain shipments with 17 silos to be created.   [07/07/13]
