Franbo Lines adds two to fleet
Taipei: Taiwanese bulk carrier operator, Franbo Lines, announced that a 6 year old 9,034dwt bulk carrier has been put into operation, chartered to Japanese company Mitsui O.S.K.Kinkai.
Franbo has also purchased the remaining 55% equity to take full ownership of a seven year old bulk carrier.
The two ships up the company’s self-owned fleet from seven to nine.
Franbo expects to deliver one or two ships a year, and have a fleet of 15 ships by 2017, according to Pang-Chuan Tsai, chairman of Franbo Lines. [06/11/14]
