Dubai: The Central Asian nation of Turkmenistan is ploughing ahead with a giant new port complex on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The port is being built in the city of Turkmenbashi.
Gap Insaat, which is part of Calyk Holding, following an international tender was announced the general contractor of the construction project of the Turkmenbashi port worth about $2bn. The project involves the construction of terminals and shipyards. [15/06/14]
