Shanghai: Höegh Autoliners has chosen Xiamen Shipbuilding Industries to build three pure car truck carriers (PCTCs) for delivery in 2015. XSI previously built four PCTCs for Höegh in the past couple of years. The 8,500 unit ships just ordered are a new design. with options for more.
“With the new vessel design we will be able to cater for a greater variety of cargo, and add flexibility to our fleet. This will enhance the service we offer to our customers.
