Singapore: Due to the presence of haze, the visibility in the Singapore Strait and port waters could be significantly reduced, the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore has warned.
“During periods of restricted visibility, shipmasters are advised to keep a proper lookout and navigate with caution,” the MPA warned.
The haze is deemed to be not nearly as bad as the earlier smog that shrouded the Lion Republic in June. [21/08/13]
