Indonesia’s LNG exports set to remain steady in 2014

Jakarta: Indonesia is set to churn out 6% more LNG this year, but exports will remain at a similar level to 2013 as domestic demand leaps, the nation’s energy regulator said on Thursday.

LNG production was likely to hit just over 17m tonnes this year of which around 85% is for export.

Indonesia signed its first LNG import deal in December, a big change from one of the world’s key exporters for decades.  [03/01/14]
